My baby girl (and all of my girls) love to be barefoot. I dutifully put shoes on them before they head out the door... and then every couple of days, I need to go scavenge my yard for all of the discarded footwear that lays exactly where it was thrown the second they were out of my sight.
As the autumn air is taking over New England, I think she may be up for a rude awakening. She is still taking her boots off and setting them next to her as she plays in the dirt. I am thinking at some point she might notice the frigid temperature or snow flakes on her toes... and put her shoes back on... but not today.

I love this! Great photo! Kids feet are just too darn cute! I loathe winter for the need to put socks on those little feet all the time! :)
ReplyDeleteI hate shoes too. We are kindred spirits, your girls and I. :o)
ReplyDeleteI don't know why parents need to buy all those toys for their kids. Just give them some dirt and cardboard box and voila! Nice shot, by the way. Looks like your camera was sitting on the ground with her.
