Kids Say The Darndest Things


4 year old: Mom, my body doesn't want me to do what you want me to. It wants to do what it wants to do.

Me: Wow, that's too bad because my body wants your body in time out.

    Ha! My toddler has taken to deciding everything was "by accident." So yeah, I accidentally sometimes don't hear the timer go off after 2 minutes. :)

    I love this! I think that it was Em's 4th birthday when she blew out the candles and then looked up at the crowd and announced, "Yippee -- now I am the boss of myself."
