14 Days

I have been doing ok at my resolution to get healthier from earlier this year. I have cut back on the beer, sweets and lattes. I have done ok at the Wii Fit. Although, with Colby's crazy work schedule last week, I had an off week. But I am back on the wagon now.

Now, I want to step it up a notch. I am making a pledge to 14 Days to a Better Me. I want to make a few teeny changes in me to make me feel better and I am going to put it out here so that everyone can hold me accountable. I am making it 14 days so I can have a short term goal as I tend to trail off if my goal is too far off. I hope some of my friends will join me and set a couple of goals for yourself and let me know. If you do, I will nag you and hold you accountable also.

Here's my goals:
3 glasses of water per day.
Work out 4 days per week.
Finish one book.
Replace my missing debit card so I can track my budget better.
Have 2 live conversations with girl friends.

That's it. Like I said, they are small goals, but that makes it more realistic to achieve!
So, somebody please join me, I could use an accountability partner. Comment here or email me!

  1. If you combined live conversations with girlfriends and excercise, you could have pillow fights with girlfirends and save time.

  2. i'm in ... check out my blog

  3. I thought I would share how I manage to drink all my water every day. I only drink 1 cup of coffee in the morning, and I do not sit down at home with it. I bring it to work which it is relly hard for me to ever finish because I am always helping the kids and I cannot put it on their desks(school rule).I also bring a large (reusable)bottle of water with me and when the coffe gets cold I move to water. When I get home if I want coffee or beer I say to my self ok but after I drink a glass of water, I usallt do that before I drink the 2nd eveinig cup of coffee or the 2nd beer. So before I drinl anything after school I make myself drink a glass of water. I end up drinking about 10-12 glasses of water a day.

  4. what ever happened to that other to-do list you had a few years back? I thought that had some great things on it

  5. Water sucks, buit you gotta do it. I try getting my kids to drink more water so we drink it together. They are more likely to drink when they see me with water, so.. you know, trying to make up for being such a crappy mom some of the time....

  6. I will join you! It is nice to have ahort term goals down on paper (blog) and have some one hold you accountable.
    I'll post about it tomorrow
