I had my ultrasound today and all was well. We saw everthing from the labia to the bladder! She is about 3 pounds, 3 ounces, which is just about right. However, at 30 weeks, my belly only measures that of a woman 26 weeks along. So, I need to go back for another ultrasound in about 3 weeks. It's odd, because I certainly do not feel like my belly is too small... I think she is taking up every spare inch of my body... and some not so spare inches!
Annika was determined that, since we were at the doctor's and I was lying on the table, she was coming home with a sister. She is really excited to have a baby around now, but we will see how she feels once it is a reality. She got to bring home her very own picture of her sister today... there were some funny faces as the baby was sticking her tongue out & waving at us (Annika waved back... too cute!)
If you can't decipher the picture of Baby Girl, it is a face on shot with her poor little face smushed up against my belly. The top of her head is to the right of the picture.
